You pay $1/month for each active monitor. Add 5 monitors, pay $5/month. You can add monitors before paying; they start checking once you subscribe.
Paused monitors are not billed, though an active subscription always bills a minimum of one monitor. Delete a monitor and your next invoice adjusts automatically.
